I am in the serious mood to get my Harbinger Comics revamped, and i needed some advice. In order to really start improving i believe i need to branch into color, which is a pain cause i just suck at color. I have given up on cleaning up my style, i think i prefer the messy look, but i really need to learn to color. Trouble is i know there are many tutorials here on DA and all over the internet, but they all mostly involve photoshop in such, but that program is darned expensive! I need references to coloring tutorials that don't require art tablets and photoshop.
Can anyone help?
And here is the Heroes of DA with updates!

I use PsCs2 for coloring and Gimp for the lineart.

Any pics in my gallery that look good are because God shone through. Any that don't are because I wasn't listening to Him.
